She was involved in more than 230 games for the US National Team and has achieved 90 goals. According the Head coach James Galanis she is a fantastic midfielder who is fully focussed on her sport. Carli has made a lot of sacrifices in order in pursuit of her goals and adds professionalism to the squad. Her book of the year was 2016titled 'When Nobody Was Paying Attention'. President Obama made her the co-chair of the President's Council on Fitness Sports and Nutrition.
