Andrea Bang

Andrea Bang (born in Burnaby British Columbia) is a Canadian actor and screenwriter. She is best known for playing Janet Kim in the CBC comedy Kim's Convenience for which she was nominated three times at the Canadian Screen Awards. She has appeared as a character in A Million Little Things Fresh as well as Running with Violet. Andrea Bang comes from Burnaby British Columbia and is Korean Canadian. Her most well-known role is portraying Janet Kim in the CBC comedy Kim's Convenience for which she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award Best Actress in a comedy Series during the fifth Canadian Screen Awards. Andrea Bang (34 years of age) was born on 2 May 1989, in Burnaby BC. Her parents were Korean immigrants. Diana Bang's sister, who is also a journalist and actress, has been working in the entertainment industry for many years. Bang was a student at Burnaby North High School, where she sang at the high school's show Bye Bye Birdie. In 2012, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia while also taking acting lessons.
