Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's best athletes. Biles was the very first gymnast from the United States in history to have won four gold medals at a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to win successive World All-Around championships. Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 at the top category of the competition. Two years later, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her exuberant personality and the extreme level of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
