Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy explained she was painful, and she refused to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in plays. After 16 she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. She was given a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
