Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for nearly 20 years. She was born on the 22nd of March, 1989, in Newport Beach California. A picture of her track meets when she was 17 years old went viral in 2007. The result was that she became a the pole vaulter of her dreams. Instagram as well as Twitter each have an enormous fan base on social media. She is a track & field star like Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others noted that Stokke was not one to seek out or encourage such media attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society identified Stokke in the context of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo Female athletes that claim to have been sexually abused and had their images depicted in such a manner so as to minimize their athletic achievements. Stokke was also a target of insulting social media remarks which the authors blamed this sexualization process entirely on the women. Many of the comments drew comparisons with Brandi Chastain's appearance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup final celebration wearing a sports bra in which the athletic successes of women were obscured due to discussions regarding their appearance. A journalist who was on the Californian site for track and field captured photos of Stokke in New York at the beginning of 2007. Images were shared on the internet. With Leather, a popular sports blog that has many male readers posted the picture in May, under the heading Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford had threatened to take action against the photographer for failing to taking down the photo. But the story was already widely circulated and had received much interest. Stokke had a site that was dedicated to her and featured images showing her in the pole-vault. When these images spread over social media they attracted thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted to finish her high school graduation in Florida. She decided, after graduating in 1974, that she wanted to change her career by pursuing an internship. Alyce has a sibling who is a renowned teacher. Her family is extremely supportive of her sister who is an instructor at a college. Alyce has a family that is located at home in Texas. Her father works for his employer, the U.S. Army. They celebrated their father's birthday three years ago. Alyce made use of social media to post an amazing photo of her daughter as well as acknowledge the contribution her father made in the U.S. Army. She is attentive to her studies, and she has been a winner at the National merit Scholarship of the University. In 2022 she celebrated her 22nd birthday.
